We finally got round to cleaning and hanging the old french sign we picked up down in dorset a few months ago, we tried it in a few rooms but ended up haning it in the hallway opposite the front door, so you see this as you come in... We also hung a vintage style one we got from Rolfeys in the kitchen, the colours worked really well with all the blues and yellows we have in there. The other thing I have been picking up over the last few weeks is the Douwe Egberts coffee jars that have been designs by Orla Keily, I love the three different design an have been hunting around the different supermarkets to find them (helped along by the lovely people I work with and my Mum!!). They look great on the shelf (next to my ceramic Orla Keily jar!) and are air tight so perfect for storing stuff . I love it when companies make an effort with their packaging to give it a second life after its first use, I wish more big brands would do this, Im mean I don't even drink coffee and I brought these (Rich will be drinking this coffee for months, luckily he likes it!).
