A few weeks ago I finally got round to framing up some of the prints Rich and I have bought. I love buying work from other artists, one of the best places locally is the Rostra Gallery in Bath, they have such a great selection of work by some amazing people and they cater for all price points which is good! Heres a few of our most recent purchases... This lovely swimming polar bear I bought for Rich a few Christmases ago, its from Etsy also a great place to get orginal prints direct from atists. 'Cat Naps' by Peskimo was also from The Rostra and was one Richards Christmas prezzys last year. Along with these three is an original advertising proof for lighter fluid that I picked up a few years ago, I just love how graphic the line work is (back in the day when the text was hand drawn!!), this is mixed with a few cards by some of my favourite designers Angie Lewin and Tom Frost as I can't quite run to original prints by them just yet! One day maybe! The black pencil frames are a mix of old wooden one and newer plastic all picked up from carboot sales and charity shops. I think the total effect is pretty good, this wall makes me happy!
