Haha, at long last we have our full compliment of new windows! Today saw our two UPVC sashes fitting to the front of the house, lets have a little recap of what we did have...
As I have mentioned I like to have the old photos on heres so I can come and remind myself how bad the old ones where. One of the two chaps fitting out windows did say that these where the worst windows they had ever replaced and was amazed we had managed to get through three winters with them.

I am so pleased with these windows! They make a huge difference to the house, they are really well made and should be crazily efficient which will make next winter more comfortable. I think the house finally looks right from the outside, it once again looks like it did back in the 50's which is what we based the windows on.
These weren't the cheapest windows we could have gone for, but we used a small local firm who where excellent and who I shall defiantly get back when we come to replace the porch.
Phew another job ticket off the list, just the other 1000 jobs to go!
