Anyway we managed to find some time to get it done last Sunday, of course it is mandatory to watch Christmas films while doing this and eat chocolates! We where helped along by a box of Roses and the films A Christmas Story and Arthur Christmas!
I have been waiting weeks to finally get our Christmas decs up, mostly hampered by lack of time due to the amount of work we are both dealing with right now. I don't even have the excuse that we needed to buy our tree, amazingly our one from last year has survived. Mostly I think because we have done absolutely nothing to it, just watered it now and again through the summer. Anyway we managed to find some time to get it done last Sunday, of course it is mandatory to watch Christmas films while doing this and eat chocolates! We where helped along by a box of Roses and the films A Christmas Story and Arthur Christmas! I love getting all our vintage Christmas baubles out, I only managed to drop and break one this year! I put the rest of the baubles that wouldn't it on the tree into my glass domes on the mantelpiece, I'm really please with how the look! I even put a few on my new porcelain stags head that was an early Christmas present from my Mum. In a slightly less Christmassy moment but no less appreciated Rich finally got the bathroom radiator up and working, the luxury of warm towels in the morning is not to be underestimated! So a busy weekend, but we are now all warm and snug and ready for the festivities!
